Membership and medication are separate

Ro says medication is charged after a patient is approved, with cost depending on the product, dose, and whether the patient uses insurance or a cash-pay offer. The $39 entry price alone is not a treatment total.

“As low as $74/month” means annual prepayment

Ro lists $74 per month for a 12-month plan prepaid annually, $89 for a six-month plan, $99 for a three-month plan, and $149 for the month-to-month plan. Compare what is due today, not just the monthly equivalent.

The drug price can change

Ro publishes cash-pay prices for specific medicines and doses, with some limited-time or manufacturer offers. The prescriber decides treatment; we do not assume one dose or a year-long medication price.

Insurance and cancellation have separate rules

Ro says its membership is not covered by insurance, and its insurance concierge supports only certain products. Its terms say to cancel at least 48 hours before renewal. Ro currently says patients with Medicaid and some other government-funded plans are not eligible for treatment on its platform.
